2007 SALVdC Secretariat

The Secretariat is an elected body whose primary purpose is to assist the members of the SALVdC Community in their Fourth Day. We are affiliated with the National Lutheran Secretariat of Via de Cristo, which includes many communities similar to SALVdC throughout the U.S. and in several foreign countries. It is the responsibility of the Secretariat to:

1. Encourage members to participate fully and actively in their home congregations,
2. Assist members in forming reunion groups,
3. Provide leadership training for those who wish to sponsor or serve on a team,
4. Ensure that each congregation has a SALVdC parish representative,
5. Support weekends like the one in which you have just participated,
6. Schedule Ultreyas on a regular basis throughout the year,
7. Inform and educate through the SALVdC website and newsletter,
8. Promote opportunities for Apostolic Action,
9. Maintain the financial health of SALVdC.
